Case Watch · Visa Bulletin

Know which clients are current the day the Visa Bulletin comes out.

No more reading the bulletin line by line against a spreadsheet. Every month VoxCross checks each waiting client’s category, country and priority date, and tells the attorney who became current and who is getting close.

The monthly ritual

The bulletin changes every month. Your clients’ futures move with it.

The Visa Bulletin is published monthly by the Department of State, with Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing for each family and employment category, by country. Dates can advance, stall or retrogress.

For a firm with dozens or hundreds of clients waiting, checking every priority date by hand each month is tedious enough that it slips. When it slips, a client who became current waits longer than they should, or finds out from someone else.

VoxCross does the comparison for you, every month, and hands the attorney a short list: who is current, who moved closer, who retrogressed.

How it works

Your waiting list, checked against every new bulletin.

  1. Load the waiting list once

Category, country of chargeability and priority date for each client, imported from your case software or read from their notices, confirmed by your team.

  2. Check every month

When the new bulletin is published, each client is compared against both charts, with the chart USCIS designated for adjustment filings marked.

  3. Tell the attorney

A short list in the Morning Brief: current, moved closer, no change, retrogressed.

  4. Reach the client, if you approve

Approved messages go to the clients the attorney selects, in their language, with an invitation to book.

FAQ

Questions attorneys ask us

How do Visa Bulletin alerts work?

Each month, when the State Department publishes the Visa Bulletin, VoxCross compares the Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing for each client’s category and country of chargeability against that client’s priority date, and tells the attorney who became current or moved close.

Which chart does it use for adjustment of status?

USCIS announces each month which chart applies for adjustment filings. VoxCross shows both charts and marks the one USCIS designated, and the attorney decides how to act.

What data does it need?

For each waiting client: the preference category, country of chargeability and priority date. We import these from your case software during setup, or read them from the approval notices you have on file, and your team confirms them.

Does it notify clients directly?

Only with the attorney’s approval. The attorney sees the list first; client messages use wording the firm approved, in the client’s language.

Thirty minutes. You call the line yourself.

On the demo we set the system up with your firm’s name, you call it from your own phone, and you watch the summary, the calendar entry and the prep brief arrive. If it isn’t obviously useful in the first five minutes, we hang up.

  • Live line configured with your firm’s name before the call
  • We check your case software and calendar on the call
  • No pitch deck. You see the system work.
